The organization “Habitat for Equality Achievements and Development” (HEAD)
conducted a training session for day care center specialists.
The purpose of the training was to strengthen the professional knowledge and
practical skills of the specialists, which is essential for providing high-quality and
effective services tailored to the needs of children and individuals with disabilities.
In the working process of day care centers, proper assessment of the individual
needs of service users, setting goals, and planning goal-oriented activities are of
particular importance. Therefore, such training sessions contribute to the
professional development of specialists, introducing them to modern approaches
and practical methods, facilitating experience sharing, and strengthening teamwork.
The training was led by Lali Tskhvediani, a psychologist, inclusive education expert,
and supervisor with many years of experience in the field.
The continuous professional development of specialists in day care centers for
children and adults with disabilities is a key priority for the organization “Habitat
for Equality Achievements and Development” (HEAD). This directly impacts the
quality of support provided to service users, their social inclusion, and the
strengthening of their independent living skills.
