During the visit, the beneficiaries of the day center were involved in various entertainment activities. The aim of the visit is to encourage the process of integration and to support the allocation of responsibilities when it comes to taking care of children. The visit was implemented in cooperation with McDonald’s and Kutaisi Youth Center
The International Day for Protection of Children is observed in many countries as Children’s Day on 1 June since 1950. That is observed to promote the welfare, health, education and dignify life conditions for children.
The event was organized within the framework of Promoting Integration, Tolerance, and Awareness (PITA) Program, implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The program partner is the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
