Tamar was born in Tskhinvali. She received her academic education at the Iakob Gogebashvili State Pedagogical University in Tbilisi. She also has a medical degree in nursing, which adds additional multifaceted competence to her professional activities.
In addition to the academic education, to improve her qualifications, Tamar has undergone numerous training and certified courses, and participated in educational programs, including: MAC Georgia’s training program “Inclusive Education”, “Elements of Sensory Integration and Sensory Stimulation”, a training organized by Habitat for Equality Achievements and Development – “Early Development and Teaching Methodology”, a training organized by the Education Development and Employment Center – “Methods for Overcoming Challenges in Distance Learning when Working with Students with Special Educational Needs.
Her work experience dates back to 1984 and includes many years of practice. Tamar worked at Tskhinvali Kindergarten No. 2, and was also the head of the kindergarten in the village of Dzartseni, Gori Municipality.
Since 2018, she has been working as a teacher at the Saguramo Day Center for Children and Persons with Disabilities “Ialoni”.
Her work includes individual and group work with children, assessing their development, and developing and implementing individualized plans. He supports the development of their skills and the full realization of their potential.
