After school graduation, Shukia received her professional education at the Tbilisi Industrial Pedagogical Technical College, majoring in pedagogy.

Since  2009, She is a teacher’s assistant at the “Lampari” Day Center for disabled children in Samtredia. To improve her qualifications, she took part in a number of trainings and short educational programs. Shukia’s main interest is inclusive education, related challenges and solutions.
