Mariam was born in Zugdidi. After graduating from school, she received her academic education at Ilia Chavchavadze State University in Tbilisi, majoring in Psychology, where she thoroughly studied the psychological aspects of human development, behavior, and communication.
To enhance her professional qualifications, she has participated in numerous trainings and educational programs. She successfully completed a certified course at the Speech Development and Correction Center “Logomedi.” She also attended a training course on “Assessment of Reading Difficulties in Children Aged 6–11.” The knowledge she gained significantly helps Maryam make her practical work more effective and results-oriented.
Since 2022, Mariam has been employed at the organization Habitat for Equality, Achievements and Development as a speech therapist. Many years of her professional experience in this field allow her to individually assess each child’s needs, develop an appropriate intervention plan, and support the development of speech, communication, and academic skills.
Her work is based on professional standards, ethical responsibility, and the maximum support of each child’s individual abilities, which plays an important role in developing children’s effective communication skills and overcoming speech difficulties.
