Lia graduated from the Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani State Pedagogical University, where she received a qualification as a methodologist of aesthetic education in the field of art history, as well as a degree in the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics and a qualification as a mathematics teacher.
Her professional development includes art therapy in psychotherapy practice, principles of inclusive education, behavior management, the specifics of working with traumatized children, project preparation, and modern computer and graphic programs.
At various times she has worked in public schools, higher education institutions, day care centers, and rehabilitation centers. She was the chairperon of the Department of Quality Management and Aesthetics, editor of the school publication, senior methodologist, teacher of informatics and mathematics, and teacher of fine and applied arts.
She has been awarded numerous certificates and diplomas for her professional achievements and active participation in public activities. She is also the author of a methodical publication – a coloring book “Who Can Color Me Better” (Publishing House “Diogenes”).
She is currently working as a therapist at the Bokeria Neurodevelopmental Center.
She joined the team of the organization Habitat for Equality Achievements and Development in 2025 as a Fine and Applied Arts Teacher at the Saguramo Day Center for Children and Persons with Disabilities “Ialoni”, working with an integrated model that combines art, educational didactics, and art therapy approaches. Her duties include planning and implementing individual and group sessions.
