Seminar on “Language, Speech, Communication Disorders, and the Importance of Early Intervention”

The organization “Habitat for Equality, Achievements and Development,” in partnership with the Speech Development and Correction Center “Logomedi” and the Alliance of Caucasian Language and Speech Therapists, organized a seminar at the “Sapovnela” Day Care Center for representatives of Terjola kindergartens on the topic: “Language, Speech, Communication Disorders, and the Importance of Early Intervention.”

The seminar was led by Ekaterine Chavchavadze, a language and speech therapist and the founder of “Logomedi.” During the meeting, she introduced participants in detail to both fundamental theoretical aspects and practical approaches to the early identification and effective management of speech and communication disorders.

The seminar was conducted in an interactive mode; participants reviewed real cases, discussed daily professional challenges, and shared their experiences with one another. This format will significantly contribute to the early detection of disorders in kindergartens and further strengthen the practice of timely support.

Such professional meetings and continuous skill development are crucial for deepening specialists’ knowledge, which, in turn, guarantees high-quality, timely, and effective support for children. The organization expresses its gratitude to the Terjola Municipal Center for Preschool Education for its cooperation and to each participant for their active engagement and professional interest.
