On 19th April, at the Gelati Residence Hotel, within the framework of the project “Needs and development-oriented outdoor space for children with disabilities living in Baghdati municipality”, the final gala evening was held. The goal of the event was to mobilize the financial resources needed to equip the outdoor space of the Social Inclusion Center for children with disabilities living in Baghdati Municipality. Representatives of donor organizations, local self-government, LEPL – State Care and Victims of Trafficking, Victim Assistance Agency, educational, local non-governmental and business organizations, people who care about the well-being of children with disabilities and our supporters were invited to the event. A presentation of the project and the achieved results was held for the guests, accompanied by a light lunch, a glass of Baia wine, and music by singer Keti Turkadze. The event was led by the guest presenter Dato Liklikadze. An exhibition and sale of works by beneficiaries of Day Care Center for children with disabilities and social enterprises was organized.
The following companies participated in the exhibition and sale: “LaLa_T”, “M.B. Handmade”, “Uzareli”, “Margarita” and “Parshevangi”. The paintings by artists Kristine Robakidze, Mariam Simashvili, Nestani Avaliani, Gocha Baghatrishvili, and Khvicha Vashakmadze were presented at the event (the paintings were donated to the organization free of charge for charitable purposes), which were sold at auction. The lottery was held with the support of the companies: Bagmania Bag Store, Galileo Gym, X AREA Gym, Prometheus Hotel, Bar-Restaurant Baraka, Museum Bar-Restaurant, Intro Bar-Restaurant, Palati Bar-Restaurant, Glitsinia Cafe, Restaurant “Sakhlshi”, Platinum – Aesthetics and Beauty Center. The works of Orkol Studio, Cosmo, Shavdia, LILE handmade were sold, which were given to us free of charge for charitable purposes.
The evening was very enjoyable and the organization was able to raise 3650 GEL through joint efforts, which brought us even closer to our goal. Many thanks to each supporter and guest, with your support we change and improve the environment every day for our beneficiaries.
