Natia Robakidze, a representative of the Kutaisi Branch of the Red Cross Society of
Georgia, conducted a first aid training session for the staff of “Dimna,” a day care
center for children with disabilities in Baghdati.
The purpose of the training was to provide participants with the fundamental
principles of first aid knowledge and to develop essential skills. Based on
international standards, the training included both theoretical and practical
components, which will help the participants react quickly and effectively in
emergency situations.
Participants learned the protocols for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and
actions to take in case of foreign body airway obstruction, considering the specific
characteristics of different age groups. They also covered bleeding control protocols
and discussed safety measures for the victim.
