“Cooking Day” is the most delicious, sweet and fun day at our Day Care Service Centers for children and people with disabilities.
Beneficiaries are preparing especially for this day, as they have the opportunity to overcome culinary challenges and demonstrate their abilities with the help of teachers. In addition to tasting delicious dishes prepared by their own hands, they gain self-esteem, perhaps treat family members to the recipes they learned and, most importantly, improve their mood.
This time, the Day Care Service Centers set a goal of preparing the main dishes of Georgian and Italian cuisine. The beneficiaries prepared khinkali and pizza with their own hands and treated each other.
Cooking days are often organized at the day centers and each time, it is not not about learning new recipes, it is also about cope with new challenges, learn, grow and have fun.
