A visit of the service users of the Saguramo Day Centre for Children and Persons with Disabilities “Ialoni” to the Ilia Chavchavadze Saguramo State Museum

Service users of the Saguramo Day Centre for Children and Persons with Disabilities “Ialoni” visited the Ilia Chavchavadze Saguramo State Museum. They explored the historical space where the great writer and statesman lived and journeyed through the environment where ideas vital to our country were born.
Following the museum tour, the beneficiaries hosted an educational and creative event titled “A Journey into Ilia’s World” bringing the writer’s work to life through their own artwork and performances: Exhibited handmade items inspired by Ilia’s characters; Read excerpts from Ilia’s works.”
This warm and inspiring day was made possible through the initiative of the Center’s fine and applied arts teacher and the active involvement of our specialists. Such activities connect knowledge, creativity, and experience, making cultural spaces closer and more accessible to everyone. History and literature truly come alive when they step off the pages of books and transform into real emotion. Special thanks to the museum administration for their hospitality and support.
