Purpose: to develop cognitive, creative, physical, social, functional and emotional skills of children and persons with disabilities, to relieve them, relieve stress and tension, promote improvement of emotional and mental health.

Target groups: children and persons with disabilities. Specialists of daycare centers

Achieved results:

  • Spaces were set aside in day centers where sensory rehabilitation rooms were arranged
  • In accordance with the procurement procedures, the inventory necessary for the arrangement of the sensory room was purchased, and the sensory room was equipped with special development tools, various visual and audio equipment and toys.
  • Specialists of daycare centers will be equipped with knowledge and practical skills. In cooperation with the McGeorgia organization (McLain Association for Children), professional online training was held on the topic: “Elements of Sensory Integration and Sensory Stimulation”.
  • Ergotherapist Markéta Černíková conducted masterclasses on the use of the sensory room and individual work.
  • 61 children and persons benefited from sensory therapy.
