The visit aims the integration of children with autism into society. Guest had fun with beneficiaries of the daycare center and they together were involved in educational and entertaining activities.
World Autism Awareness Day is an internationally recognized day on 2 April every year, encouraging the Member States of the United Nations to take measures to raise awareness about people with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the world.
The visit was organized by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) within the framework of Promoting Integration, Tolerance, and Awareness (PITA) Program, implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
