After graduation from school, Teona continued to study at the Davit Guramishvili State University in the pedagogical faculty.

She has many years of working experience, which started in 2004. From 2004-2005 she was working at the Zugdidi Rehabilitation Center, and from 2005-2015 she was working in the children’s hospital. In 2020 she became a member of the Education Development and Employment Center.

Teona became a member of the organization Habitat for Equality, Achievements and Development in 2022, as a speech therapist. She has many years of experience working in this position, which allows her to help children establish effective communication with others and overcome difficulties related to speech development.
