Speech therapy consultations in Kutaisi kindergartens

The organization Habitat for Equality Achievement and Development (HEAD), in collaboration
with the Kutaisi Kindergarten Association, is holding informational meetings for parents and
kindergarten teachers on the topic of early recognition and appropriate response to speech
disorders in children.
The meetings are led by the organization’s speech and language therapist, Anna Takvarelia,
who shares important information with the participants about the stages of speech
development, possible difficulties, and signs that timely observation and appropriate
response are especially important for the child’s development.
Meetings have already been held in Kutaisi kindergartens No. 5, No. 8, No. 13, No. 15, No. 18,
No. 20 and No. 31. In several kindergartens, the therapist, with the consent of the parents,
also conducted individual consultations for children.
Habitat for Equality Achievements and Development continues to cooperate with the Kutaisi
Kindergarten Association and plans to hold similar informational meetings in all
kindergartens in Kutaisi in the near future.
