The Early Childhood DevelopmentProgram serves children at risk of developmental delays and children with disabilities aged 0-7 and their families. It aims to develop children’s cognitive, social-emotional, speech, communication, motor, self-care skills, and promote social integration. The program involves teaching parents skills to promote child development. A specialist of early childhood development program is involved in the work process. Depending on the needs of the child and parents, it is possible to involve a psychologist, a speech therapist or an occupational therapist. The work with the child is carried out according to an individual plan, in which parents and other family members actively participate. The service is provided within the framework of the state sub-program for the promotion of children’s early development which offers 8 visits per month, which can include individual work in a natural environment (preferably a home and/or nursery school) or center, as well as group work with children.
