On December 13, representatives of the HEAD held a roundtable discussion on the topic “Rights-based and needs-based social services in Georgia, at the local and central levels”. The meeting was attended by representatives of kindergartens, social service agencies, family strengthening consultants of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Service Center, and interested parents. The participants of the meeting received detailed information about social programs funded by both the state and local budgets, as well as discussed challenges and needs. The meeting was held within the framework of the project “Rights-based and needs-oriented therapeutic services for children with special needs in Zugdidi”, which is funded by the Embassy of Germany in Georgia.
