Kutaisi Day Center serves disabled children from 6 to 18 years old. The aim of the center, taking into account individual capabilities, is to improve the social condition of children and promote their integration into society.
The teacher is responsible, together with a multidisciplinary team (pedagogue assistant, psychologist, parent), for studying the mental, psychological, development level and capabilities of the beneficiaries, for drawing up an individual development plan based on the results for each beneficiary, for implementing the set tasks, monitoring and evaluating the achieved results.
Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development will give preference to long-term collaboration-oriented candidates when selecting interns.
Main responosibilites:
- conducting individual and group work with beneficiaries;
- Development of functional, social, household and academic skills of beneficiaries and promotion of habit formation;
- constant observation, care and control of the condition of the beneficiaries, in accordance with the activities provided by the individual development habilitation/rehabilitation program for each beneficiary;
- performing tasks set individually and in groups with each beneficiary, implementing the system necessary for their evaluation; revealing the potential of the beneficiaries and using these resources as efficiently as possible; conducting consultations with parents/guardians; Production of documentation required by the bylaws and internal regulations of the organization and program.

Knowledge and experience of mandatory skills:
- Higher education, preferably in the field of social sciences (psychology, sociology, medicine, pedagogy);
- fluent command of the Georgian language (writing, reading, speaking);
- Good communication skills, conflict resolution and teamwork skills;
- creative thinking;
- conscientiousness;
- experience working with disabled children;
- It is necessary to have computer skills.
