Theoretical and practical training on fire safety and the rules of conduct during a fire was conducted at the Kutaisi, Samtredia, Terjola, Baghdati and Saguramo day care service centers for children and people with disabilities.
The day service service centers provided detailed information about fire safety rules to the beneficiaries through a variety of activities and conducted a simulation exercise with them, which included fire extinguishing and evacuation.
The beneficiaries of the Terjola day care service center had the opportunity to receive theoretical knowledge from firefighters of the Terjola Fire Department, as well as explore fire and rescue equipment and learn the rules for its use.
Fire rescuer Levani Shotniashvili visited Saguramo day care service center and trained the beneficiaries on fire safety and rules of behavior during fire.
Similar activities are held twice a year for staff and beneficiaries and aim to develop appropriate skills in emergency situations.
