Organized by the organization “Habitat for Equality Achievements and Development,” beneficiaries of the Day Care Centers for Children with Disabilities in Kutaisi and Samtredia visited Kutaisi Public College “Iberia” as part of the Professional Orientation and Career Planning Program. As part of the interesting and educational visit, the young people: toured the college’s modern material and technical facilities; learned firsthand about current professions and educational programs; received detailed information regarding enrollment conditions and opportunities at the college. Professional education is one of the strongest pillars on the path toward independent living and self-realization. Supporting individuals with disabilities at an early stage of career orientation is critically important, as it helps them discover their potential and interests in a safe and supportive environment; acquire practical skills necessary for competitiveness in the labor market; break stereotypes and become fully-fledged, economically independent members of society. Our team will continue to actively work toward the professional advancement of each of our beneficiaries and the creation of equal opportunities!
