In Kutaisi, the organization “Habitat for Equality Achievements and Development”
(HEAD), in collaboration with the Speech Development and Correction Center
“Logomedi” and with the support of the Kutaisi Kindergarten Union, held a seminar
for kindergarten speech therapists dedicated to the importance of early intervention
in speech therapy.
The seminar was led by Ekaterine Chavchavadze, a speech and language therapist
and the founder of “Logomedi.” She introduced the participants to both the
theoretical foundations and practical approaches for the early identification and
management of speech disorders.
Alongside gaining theoretical knowledge, participants had the opportunity to discuss
practical case studies and share their professional experiences.
Early involvement and the professional competence of kindergarten educators and
specialists are critically important, as they represent the primary line of contact
with children during their early development stages and play an essential role in the
timely identification of potential difficulties.
