HEAD held a workshop on the topic “Social Programs Funded by Local Self-Government and the Central Government” for parents of children with special educational needs, kindergarten teachers, and interested individuals living in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Zugdidi. The meeting was attended by local representatives of local self-government and state care and the Agency for Assistance to Victims of Trafficking, who provided detailed information to the meeting participants about existing state services. The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format, and the invited guests listened to the recommendations and needs of the parents. Meetings were held within the framework of the project “Rights-based and needs-oriented therapeutic services for children with special needs”, funded by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Georgia from the Lithuanian Development Cooperation Program Fund.
