Purpose: To promote the creation of an inclusive environment and equal opportunities for children with special needs

Target Groups: Children with special needs, their family members, specialists working with children with special needs, kindergarten teachers and other interested parties

Achieved results:

  • 100 employees of kindergartens deepened their knowledge in issues of early childhood development and teaching methodologies;
  • Parents of children with special needs received knowledge about the stages of children’s development and speech disorders;
  • Parents of children with special needs received information about municipal and state programs and how to use them;
  • 60 children were diagnosed with speech disorders free of charge and their needs were identified;
  • Behavior and early development specialists were trained;
  • Expanded needs-oriented and rights-based therapeutic services in Zugdidi and Mtskheta-Mtianeti municipalities.
