History

“Habitat for Equality, Achievements and Development”(HEAD)  was established as an independent organization on May 16, 2022 by the “Education Development and Employment Center”, although its activities were started and administered within the framework of the Child Protection Program, one of the program areas of the “Education Development and Employment Center” since 2008. Four day care centers for children and persons with disabilities.

“Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development”(HEAD) is acting as an expert working with and for people with disabilities in different regions and municipalities all over Georgia. As a service provider, the organization operates Day Care Centers in Kutaisi, Samtredia, Terjola and Saguramo and therewith supports the creation of a healthy, sustainable and up-to-date daily care, learning and therapy environment for children and adults with disabilities. Doing so, HEAD is not following a caretaking approach only, it aims to support, teach and accompany the beneficiaries to gain a more independent living, and integration into society and there follow an inclusive approach.

Special services

“Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development” (HEAD) provides diverse therapy services, which are based on the special needs of the beneficiaries and there with foster their abilities and talents. The approach of doing so is characterized by an individual needs-based treatment and service to develop necessary skills for an independent living and improve their socio-economic status.
